Products

Maakoa calls it’s juice Koopuwa. The juice is based on fruit called Cupuacu which is found in the Amazon Basin in Brazil’s rainforest.

The juice provides vitamins B1, B2, B3 and essential fat and amino acids. The seed of the fruit contains a sweet smelling white butter like substance that makes excellent white chocolate.

Besides containing koopuwa, the juice also contains a blend of Acai Berry, Pomegranate and Blueberry. Though the koopuwa fruit is mainly unknown outside of Brazil, the usage of this fruit in network marketing companies will increase it’s visibility and usage. Fruta Vida which is another network marketing company also uses this fruit in one of it’s juice products.

Currently, the main known source of cupuacu is Brazil which may severely limit it’s expansion as an ingredient in various products. However, it has been introduced into the humid tropical areas of Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela. So it is possible that if demand for this fruit remains strong, it’s production could be expanded into other tropical areas worldwide. Unfortunately, tropical areas are diminishing every day due to global warming and deforestation.

The most serious disease facing the production of this fruit is the dreaded witches broom fungus which is endemic in Brazil. The trees are not killed outright but rather are weakened which reduces the amount of fruit produced. Pruning the affected branches will help control this disease.

Their third product is MXP3 Lean which is meant to control appetite and cravings while still providing one’s body with necessary nutrients.

Business Opportunity

As with all network marketing companies, one must be able to market the product and the opportunity to thousands of people in order to succeed. This process is continual as there will be many people that will consider the juice too expensive to consume on a regular basis. They may buy it for a few months to see if it helps address some medical issue they are having. If they feel it does nothing for them, then they will no longer consume the product that many will see as an expensive monthly consumption product.

For those that joined to build a business, many will attempt to build a business for a few months. However, when they see lots of expenses going out and little or no profit to show for it, they will no longer order their monthly autoship and will stop trying to build a business.

The product is new in 2009 and makes use of a fruit called cupuacu. So there is some marketability based on being one of the first to market with a particular ingredient. However, never base your plans to build a business on the assumption that because the product is new or is endorsed by celebrities that it will make it an easy business to build.

There are so many juices in the internet marketing field now that one can begin to wonder if there are just too many to sustain growth beyond companies already in existence. Of course, these juices like Koopuwa are usually meant to be drank in the 1 to 3 ounze per day amount rather than the glassful. But people may still be hesitant to pay the price demanded.

So can you succeed with a Maakoa business? Obviously this is a new company so there is not a lot of history behind it. As a new company, it is also impossible to determine if it has the management and product that will sustain it into the future. But if you want to succeed with this company, you will still need to present this product and business opportunity to thousands in order to succeed with a full time income. This recruitment for product users and business builders will be a continual process in order to achieve and maintain a profitable business that creates a full time income for you.
